Browned Butter & Mizithra Cheese Pasta Recipe

Oh the Old Spaghetti Factory! One thing I really missed from Cali was sitting in the old train station at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton, enjoying a large dish of mizithra cheese and and browned butter pasta. Missing it so much, I decided to re-create it at home and it is sooo easy to make and just as delicious!!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter

1 lb pasta (I used whole wheat linguine)

1/2 cup Mizithra cheese (shredded)

salt

Directions:

Boil salted water in a large sauce pan

Add pasta and cook until desired consistency (approx 10-12 min)

In a medium size skillet, brown butter over medium heat.

Scoop the white residue off the top of browned butter 

Toss pasta with browned butter

Add mizithra cheese to pasta

Serve with your favorite garlic bread and enjoy!
