White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries 

I love strawberries all year long, but they're especially great on a hot summer day. Knowing that I would have a lot of barbecues and whatnot to attend over the weekend/this week I decided to try my hand at dipped strawberries! These were really easy to make and tasted delicious!!!

Ingredients:

1 pint of strawberries

1 bag of white chocolate chips

1 jar of sprinkles

Directions:

Wash and dry strawberries leaving stems intact. 

Line a tray with wax paper

Pour sprinkles into a shallow bowl

Warm 1/2 of the bag of white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl on medium heat for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, remove bowl from microwave, stir chocolate and repeat at 30 second intervals until chocolate is melted.

Dip one strawberry at a time in white chocolate about 3/4 of the way. Twirl off excess chocolate or smooth it with back of spoon, if necessary.

Immediately dip chocolate covered strawberry in sprinkles. 

Place finished strawberry on wax paper lined tray and repeat until all of the strawberries are done.

Refrigerate if not serving immediately.
